Welcome to the Provost Division of the SCP foundation.
Your job as a Military Provost is to enforce the Articles of Conduct within the foundation. As a Military Provost, you are expected to act maturely, professionally, and be able to handle varying situations. We are to ensure the safety of the Foundation and the personnel within it.
OOC SECTION
Listed here will be things you need to know for OOC
/advert [message] - Advertise your message in yellow text. It is highly recommend that you report any AOS, request for assistance, injury, and etc. within the chat. This way we are able to communicate efficiently and keep the foundation orderly.
@ [message] - Use this to contact admins in the event of someone breaking OOC rules, such as fail rp or RDM. There are multiple admins within the Provost Division that will help you.
/me [action] - The action command is used in the event of detaining someone. You MUST use the action command in order to detain someone. It has to be descriptive as well (i.e: /me attempts to pull (one being arrested) arms behind their back to detain them).
/roll - Going hand-in-hand with the action command, you must use the roll command if the one being arrested is resisting arrest.
IF YOU DO NOT USE /ME OR /ROLL NOT ONLY IS IT FAIL RP BUT IT WILL RESULT IN A DEMOTION. YOU WILL BE DEMOTED A RANK WITHIN THE DIVISION, A SECOND OFFENSE WILL A FULL DEMOTION FROM THE DIVISION NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
Passive RP - It is highly encouraged (but not forced) to partake in passive rp. This means that if you are patrolling or standing guard at D block with a partner of some sort, that you two talk about sports or something mundane. Use /me’s to ‘animate’ your character within the game. The higher-up’s in the Provost division highly encourage it, and you will see them passive rp within the game.
PROVOST DIVISION RULES
You may arrest anyone that is breaking the Articles of Conduct or causing a general disturbance.
You must be available and ready to respond to any personnel issues.
You do not disobey or question an order from a higher up, UNLESS, it is breaking a rule within the facility. (i.e Murder)
You may not falsely arrest anyone, it will result in a demotion.
You are to reside in EZ until told otherwise by a higher-up.
During a Code Orange you must report to Gate A to assist in defending the foundation, failure to do so will result in a demotion.
During an arrest you must explain why they are being detained.
If there is an issue regarding a server rule, report it to admins using @ and it will be dealt with. Do not attempt to take an OOC issue into your own hands.
WE DO NOT TORTURE. AN INTERROGATION IS DONE PROFESSIONALLY AND MATURELY. The foundation has an unorthodox method of interrogation, but it is not torture.
CODES AND PROCEDURES FOR PROVOSTS
Code Green - You are to reside in EZ unless told otherwise by a higherup.
Code Yellow - Same procedure as Code Green.
Code Orange - You are to immediately report to Gate A to assist in defending the foundation, failure to do so will result in demotion.
Code Red - You are to remain at Gate A to keep order with the Security and Research who have evacuated.
Code Black - You are to evacuate the foundation staff out of Gate A, and get yourself to a helicopter or blast shelter.
PROFESSIONALISM
Within the division, you are expected to be mature and respectful during varying situations within the foundation. These situations can vary from arrests, patrols, and interrogations. You are to treat the foundation staff with the same respect as you would a higher-up. Any disrespect that is heard continuously within the division may result in a punishment from a higher-up.
ARRESTING
In the event that you to are arrest someone, you must explain why they are being detained, before escorting them to the interrogation room, and requesting the Head Marshal (if on site, if not then request a Marshal or higher). In the event that the one being arrested has managed to resist arrest, and were able to escape, you report their name and last location.
Anyone that escapes an arrest is to be AOS/Arrest on sight. If they are harming foundation personnel, they are KOS/Kill on sight.
INTERROGATIONS
The process of an interrogation after an arrest are to be handled by the Head Marshal or higher. If none are on site, request a higher-up within the division (Marshal and above). If none within the division are available, you may request a higher-up within the security division (Sergeant and above).
